Finishing touches are always a collaborative experience for me. I always ask for my client’s thoughts and most of the time, what they really want is to know my honest opinion. So I always offer it up so they can make the final decision.

I’m fortunate to say that by the end of my appointments, I have gotten to know each of my clients, even if it’s a busy wedding morning and we are meeting for the first time, I want that time to be spent bringing their vision to life in my chair. It’s hard to do that if you don’t take the time to get to know the person in your chair.
That’s why you’ll never see me rush through a service. If you want your makeup done in 30 min, unfortunately that’s not me.

Give me an hour, more if you have it and you’ll get the best out of my skills as an artist as well.

I have been trying to find a tubing mascara that I love that will deliver length, lift, separation and not budge once it’s on. While some formulas add incredible rich pigment and volume, they lack the lift my mature lashes need. My lashes are naturally downturned so I have to first curl them then apply my mascara with the hopes the lift stays.

While I have loved voluminous mascara for both my personal and pro kits for years, I have not been able to put down the Sky Tubes mascara since purchasing it a few weeks ago!

It gives my short, thin lashes the volume, lift, and length I have been wanting, all while being the easiest mascara to remove at the end of my day.

Having a mascara that is easy to remove means no losing lashes while I’m struggling to clean the mascara off at the end of the night.

I already have a feeling this mascara is headed to my Pro kit next👌

PRODUCT REVIEW + 12 hr wear test

I will admit, I already had a feeling I was going to love this formula just by reading the ingredient list and knowing how many skin loving ingredients had been added to create the Skin Perfecting cream blush by BK Beauty

What I didn’t anticipate was how well this product would hold up for pigment payoff, as well as wear time after 12 hrs, without setting it down with a powder blush on top or using an alcohol based setting spray to lock it in.

Needless to say the next day these blushes were officially added into my pro kit and were used for my own nieces wedding make up three days in a row. That’s how much I trusted the performance of this product after testing it myself.

Now to play with all of the rest of the shades! 😍
There are 7 shades to choose from and for reference I applied the blush using the BK Beauty 109 brush.

This was an impromptu play time in my chair, testing new products.

Mom and I tested out BK Beauty Skin Perfecting Cream Blush in shade Afterglow on the cheeks and lips and Hung Vanngo Beauty Timeless Taupes was used to add soft definition around her eyes. Her reaction says it all… “oh wow.”
