HarmonyCa is new. The idea behind it isn’t.

HarmonyCa has been getting a lot of attention because it combines two injectable technologies in one product: hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxylapatite, or CaHA.

Each does something different.

Hyaluronic acid provides hydration, support, and light volume. CaHA acts as a biostimulator, encouraging collagen production over time and supporting improvements in skin quality, firmness, and structure.

The combination is what makes the conversation around HarmonyCa interesting. You get an immediate structural effect from the HA alongside longer-term biostimulation from the CaHA.
But combining these two types of products is not a new concept at Kamloops Skin Solutions.

Dr. Leia-Stephen has been using customized combinations of Radiesse, a CaHA injectable, with hyaluronic acid fillers for years when the treatment plan calls for both biostimulation and subtle volume support. 🙌

For example, this type of approach works well when the concern is less about “adding volume” and more about addressing crepey texture, laxity, and changes in skin quality. The exact products, ratios, treatment areas, and number of sessions depend on the person and what we are trying to improve.

HarmonyCa offers these two components in one pre-formulated injectable. At KSS, we have taken a more customized approach by selecting and combining products based on the patient in front of us.
