Kicking off my first corporate event of the year at the beautiful . 🤎✨

I had the absolute pleasure of giving henna to some incredible ladies from Canada’s tourism industry. Getting to connect with each of them 1:1 while creating personalized designs made the evening so special.

And to all the lovely ladies who trusted me with their henna… the compliments, the excitement, the love for my work, it truly means everything.

I had set up my booth early and had some time to spare…
Found a random IKEA cardboard in my truck, grabbed a Sharpie, and started doodling.

If you’ve ever visited my booth, you’ve probably seen this little handmade board hanging there — very DIY, very “make it work” energy. 😂✨

At one of the markets, a sweet little kid stuck a Minecraft sticker on it… and I never took it off.
To this day, the sticker is still there.

It’s funny how the smallest, most unplanned things end up becoming part of the story. 💕

Market season is made of moments like these.

This year marks 11 years since I first started doing henna. What began as a simple interest slowly grew through years of practice, learning, and showing up, even when it was just freelancing and word of mouth.♥️

In October 2024, I officially registered Henna Love by Sahra in Canada. Then in 2025, I truly stepped into operations, turning something I had been doing quietly for years into a functioning, growing business. That first year of operating meant more to me than I can explain. I met so many kind business owners, collaborators, and clients who trusted me with their moments. I made connections that turned into friendships, and I was part of so many beautiful stories, too many that still make me emotional when I think about them.🥹♥️

Going into year two, I’m honestly just grateful, for the people I’ve met, the trust I’ve been given, and the support I’ve felt along the way. 🥰🫶🏻

Last year, this cutie won the pumpkin contest after I gave it a full henna makeover… so of course it demanded a feature on this year’s calendar too 😌✨
