Rehab isn’t complete just because the pain is gone.

Here are 4 signs your rehab may have stopped too early:

1️⃣ You still avoid certain movements.
You “can” do them — but you hesitate. That hesitation is a capacity gap.

2️⃣ You feel better… but weaker than before your injury.
Pain reduction without strength progression isn’t full recovery.

3️⃣ You were discharged without a return-to-training plan.
If there’s no structured progression, you’re guessing your way back.

4️⃣ You’re managing symptoms instead of building resilience.
Relief is important. But long-term durability comes from progressive loading.

The goal isn’t just pain reduction.
It’s confidence. Strength. And full return to life and training.

That’s why we bridge rehab to performance.

If you’re stuck in the space between “not injured” and “not fully back,”
book a 60-minute assessment and let’s build the right plan.

You heard that right: we’ve got a new RMT (which means there’s a calendar full of appointments just waiting for you to book in!)

What’s unique about Clinton McCabe is his background as a personal trainer. This crossover gives him that added experience of addressing needs specific to folks lifting weights and staying active.

One of the best parts of this job is watching someone go from guarding every movement to trusting their body again.

So much of healthcare hands people a sheet of exercises and calls it done — completely skipping the part where pain isn’t just physical, it’s a trust problem. Fear, hesitation, doubt in what your body can actually handle.

If we’re not rebuilding that trust first, we’re missing the whole point. No amount of exercises fixes something that starts with the nervous system deciding it’s not safe to move.

Long-term, nothing beats a positive experience with movement. That’s the whole philosophy behind how we do rehab at Move RX — not just relief, actual trust restored.

Your body is adapting every single day.

The question is: are you investing in it before something goes wrong, or waiting until you’re in pain?

I’d love to hear your thoughts 👇

Hot Take: your practitioner needs to know what it feels like. Not just the theory, but the lived experience. Why? Until you know what athletics can mean to someone, or understand how complex an injury can be beyond just the physical, it’s almost impossible to guide someone through that journey.

If you want a chiropractor that has also been the athlete, the one rehabbing an injury, the one chasing athletic goals - even now - reach out.

Back pain during golf is almost never a golf problem. It’s a movement problem that your swing is exposing (usually restricted thoracic rotation compensated by lumbar overload).

Here’s what I do with the golfers who want to stay on the field all summer!

YES lifting heavy is good for you.
And YES, how heavy you lift might depend on what the date is.

Being cycle-informed in your training doesn’t make you inconsistent, but rather working with (instead of against) your rhythm.
