Today we closed our acquisition of Sonata Aesthetics in Broomfield, our second clinic in the Denver metro area.

Dr. Janowski founded Sonata in 2004. Over two decades the practice has served more than 14,000 patients, and Dr. Janowski is a certified national trainer for two of the largest aesthetic companies in the world.

Sonata is exactly the kind of practice Bios is built to partner with: clinician-led, patient-focused, and offering the full range of aesthetics and wellness care, from injectables and advanced cosmetic procedures to hormone therapy and medical weight loss.

Dr. Janowski and his team will continue to lead the practice they built, now backed by Bios on operations, marketing and clinical support.

Today we closed our acquisition of Gleam Medical Spa in Denver, Colorado. Our first US clinic, and the start of a new chapter for Bios.

Two years ago, on June 24, 2024, we closed our very first deal: one clinic and a plan. Today we run 12 clinics across Canada and the US, with several more signed and moving through due diligence.

True Balance is recognized as a leading provider of advanced hormone therapies and medical aesthetics, specializing in BHRT, TRT, and other cutting-edge wellness treatments.

Dr. Ron Brown is the Executive Medical Director and a published author on hormone health—his book Discovering Your True Balance with Bioidentical Hormones reflects his expertise in longevity medicine and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.

Susan Fyfe (RN) brings extensive experience in hormone therapy and aesthetics and is widely recognized for her philanthropic work, including founding the Rescue 100 Foundation for starving horses and earning a Reader’s Digest Hero Award in 2009.

This transaction adds a strategic component to Bios—enabling us to weave wellness and aesthetics together. We’re seeing a clear shift: people don’t just want beauty on the outside—they want to feel amazing on the inside too. With this acquisition, Bios now has the foundation to expand a strong wellness component across all of our aesthetic practices, helping clients look as good as they feel.

Alongside this acquisition, Bios is pleased to announce the closing of a private placement and an increase to its credit facility through RBC, strengthening our ability to execute on our growth strategy.

We’re proud to announce the acquisition of Aria Medi Spa, a leading Medical Spa, Day Spa, and Laser Clinic located in the heart of Blind Bay. Since 2017, Aria Medi Spa has been a trusted destination for exceptional aesthetic care, proudly serving the South Shuswap, including Salmon Arm and Blind Bay.

Laine Cooper, Founder, LPN, Cosmetic Nurse Injector, and Medical Aesthetician, has built Aria Medi Spa from the ground up, bringing advanced aesthetic practices and a passion for science, technology, lasers, injectables, and medical skincare to her community. Trained by top master injector physicians and surgeons across Canada, Laine takes immense pride in her expertise. Her favourite part of the job? Watching clients transform on the outside — and radiate confidence from within.

Dr. Lotay, MD, CCFP, PgDipDerm, joins Bios Wellness Clinics as Chief Medical Officer!

Dr. Lotay is a respected physician and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience serving patients in Kamloops and across British Columbia. Her background blends the precision of surgery, the science of dermatology, and the artistry of aesthetics—making her a trusted leader in the field of medical aesthetics.

She earned her medical degree with distinction from the University of Alberta, where she was awarded the Mewburn Medal in Surgery. Her interest in facial anatomy and rejuvenation led her to complete a Private Practice Fellowship in Oculoplastics with Dr. Alan Wulc in Philadelphia, where she deepened her understanding of facial aging and advanced cosmetic techniques.

Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Lotay completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology from Queen Mary University of London and earned a certification in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine from the University of Queensland. She also holds advanced training in aesthetic lasers through the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

As the founder of one of BC’s most successful medical aesthetics clinics, Dr. Lotay demonstrated clinical and business excellence. Under her leadership, her clinic became one of the top ZO Skin Health retailers in the province, a testament to her results-driven, evidence-based approach to skincare.

Now, as Chief Medical Officer at Bios Wellness Clinics, Dr. Lotay brings her unique philosophy to our team:
