The dreaded “Autumn Shed” is amongst us. As the leaves fall off the trees, sometimes your lashes tend to do the same. Don’t worry if you notice that it’s happening to you, it’s just a phase and we’ll get those lashes filled back up in no time! 🍂🍃🌻🎃

Sometimes a nice natural set is what I’m craving, but sometimes you can’t complete with a dramatic volume cat eye set!! 😍 what are your lash goals?!

This beautiful client made the switch from Hybrid lashes to Volume lashes. After the next couple fills, all of the Classic lashes will be gone and she’ll be left with all Volume lashes so it will get slightly fluffier! She gets a mix of C & D curl for a texturized look!

•ATTENTION for RETENTION•
If you’re having retention issues, remember that 50% of it is my job as the technician, but the other 50% is your job as the client. I make sure I’m using the right technique, conditions, and products to allow the perfect look, a great retention and still preserve your lash health. Your job is to maintain the lashes by following your “after-care” instructions.
•avoid direct water and high humidity conditions for 24-48 hours after your appointment
•keep those lashes cleansed. Don’t be afraid to wash them (with Oil-free foam cleanser) just be gentle. If you’re not washing them, your natural oils and any oil based products will build up and actually dissolve the adhesive. They may look clean in the mirror, but they’re not if you’re not washing them. Keep them clean!
•come to your lash appointments with no eye make up. If they don’t get properly cleaned prior to the application, the adhesive will not have a 100% bond which will affect the retention.
•don’t touch your lashes. You have natural oils on your fingers that spread to your lashes. Touching, picking, pulling and rubbing your lashes can cause damage to your natural lashes and again, will cause retention issues.
•rebook for fills. Make sure you’re always getting in for a fill between 2-4 weeks (depending on YOUR growth cycle) as long as you have 40% of your lashes left when you come see me so I can fill those babies back up!
•Last but not least, if you’re following all those steps, maybe you’re experiencing your lash shed. This is normal. In the spring and fall we all have our dreaded shedding where we noticeably shed lashes at a quicker rate. Don’t fret, this period only lasts 6-8 weeks!
