Introducing my niece to her very first massage reminded me why I started this journey, to share the healing power of touch with people of all ages.
She chose to keep her clothes on for comfort and even brought her stuffed panda for support. Afterward she told her mom she “loved it” and that next time she’d even be ready to try with her shirt off.
Like many first-timers, she had lots of questions (and a few nerves). Her mom came with a list, stayed in the room to support her, and captured this sweet moment. Shared with full consent.
If you’ve been thinking about booking your first massage no matter what age, know that every fear, question, and comfort preference can be respected. And if you’re feeling a little nervous, it’s always helpful for me to know ahead of time so I can make your experience extra safe and comfortable.
