One of the biggest misconceptions about aging is thinking wrinkles or folds are the whole problem.
They’re not.
They’re simply one of the ways your face tells the story of what’s happening underneath.
As we age, we lose collagen, our skin becomes thinner, our fat pads gradually shift, and the muscles in our face begin pulling differently over time.
All of these changes affect the way your face looks long before deep wrinkles ever appear.
That’s why treating one wrinkle, one fold, or one area in isolation often doesn’t create the refreshed, natural results people are hoping for.
This is where the disconnect often happens.
Most clients come in focused on what they can see: the wrinkle, the fold, the area that bothers them.
But those are just the symptoms.
My job is to understand why those changes are happening so we can treat the cause, not just what’s most visible.
That means improving skin quality, rebuilding collagen, relaxing overactive muscles, and a combination of thoughtful treatments that work together and compliment eachother.
This is why I always assess the face as a whole instead of chasing individual concerns.

One of the biggest reasons women put off treatments isn’t cost.

Progress over perfection 🤍 1 𝘋𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳 𝘛𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵
If you’ve been avoiding treatment because you’re scared of looking overfilled or unlike yourself, you’re not alone. Most women don’t want dramatic changes, they just want to feel fresher, smoother, and more confident without anyone knowing they had filler.
This client is 70 and one of her biggest concerns was the deep vertical lines around the mouth that became more noticeable when she pursed her lips. These lines develop over time from collagen loss, expression, sun exposure, and natural aging, and they can start to make the mouth look more aged. This client didn’t do any aesthetic treatments her whole life until she met me a couple of years ago. She wishes she started sooner!
A lot of mature women are hesitant to use fillers because of the fear of not looking age appropriate or looking “puffy” which is exactly why so many mature clients avoid addressing concerns for years.
But this transformation is actually a great example of how lip line correction can be so impactful yet not overdone. Because filler attracts and holds water, it can continue to plump and settle after treatment, which is another reason why I always account for that and slightly under fill rather than risk an overfilled and heavy look. **This photo is immediately after the treatment and results will settle in 2 weeks.
We improved the appearance of these deeper folds while still keeping the lips natural and age-appropriate.
My goal is always to deliver results that feel very impactful without looking overdone.
