Some short haircuts.
Often times clients will call and say “oh, I just need a quick cut! My hair is short, anyone can do it”. Let me just tell you, not anyone can do it! Short hair is the hardest hair to cut. There are so many details! If the stylist doesn’t know how to cut based on head shape, or understand growth patterns or directions, you’re not going to have a very easy cut to work with. If they don’t know how to remove weight properly, or how to texturize in a way that helps with styling, you could be in big trouble! But when your stylist gets it, short hair cuts can be pretty amazing!

Talk about a lot of hair! Sometimes, when you first get your hair done, you’ll need a full head of highlights, but then to maintain from that, you might do accent highlights just around the face, or maybe half a head like 12 weeks after the initial appt. You don’t always need to do the whole thing…just keep it maintained, and you’ll be a ok!

This is not just a root touch up- this is a full color! And here’s the difference between doing a color in salon vs doing one with a box—> with a box, the same color goes on white roots, as goes on brown ends. This will not look even after it’s processed. You will have lighter roots, and darker ends.
At the salon (or at least at ), we formulate two different colors- one for the white hair, and one for the brown hair. Think about this- if you were to paint black on a white wall, would it go black first time? What if you painted black on a brown wall? Catch my drift? Plus- Davines color is made with 50% reflective color molecules, which makes your hair so incredibly shiny, plus it strengthens your hair with milk protein! Box color dries your hair out, makes it uneven, and you make a big bad mess! Leave it with us professionals! We’ve got you!

I must be entering this thing called perimenopause, because my memory is going! I take a bazillion before pics, and….thats it! lol
This is one of my faves! The desire to put blonde highlights in to help blend the whites, so others don’t see them, is a real thing. But also, not everyone looks good blonde. Let me say that louder for the people in the back 🔇NOT EVERYONE LOOKS GOOD BLONDE! So, another option, without having to do a root touch up every 3-4 weeks, is using a Demi permanent color that will soften the white hairs, add a bit of pigment to them, so they are deepened without being covered, while giving you a color that actually flatters your skin tone!
