I take photos because documentation matters. It allows me to track changes, compare progress and have an accurate record to reference as we continue working together.

Whether those photos ever become content is a completely separate conversation.

You never owe me a before + after. You never need to share your face to prove that your treatment was successful. And choosing privacy will never change the level of care you receive from me.

I’m grateful when patients are comfortable allowing me to share their results because it helps others understand what’s possible. But I’m equally happy when those results stay between us.

A little bruising after an appointment? Totally possible. And no, it doesn’t automatically mean something went wrong. 🤍

We’re working with needles, blood vessels and anatomy that can vary quite a bit from one person to the next. Sometimes you leave without a mark, and sometimes you leave with a tiny purple souvenir. 😂

Even with an experienced injector and careful technique, bruising can happen.

And while nobody wants a bruise, I’d much rather you choose your injector based on the things that actually matter:

Their understanding of anatomy. Their training and experience. Their technique. Their clinical judgment. Their commitment to safety. And their ability to know when to treat, when to adjust the plan, and when to say no.

Remember, the little bruise you see the next morning will fade.
