Harlowe Green is a refillery and low waste, conscious lifestyle shop featuring clean, ecologically responsible + ethical home and personal care goods.
We are independent, locally owned + a Living Wage employer offering free waste diversion programs. We have a location in Harlowe at 4285 Henderson Road, Arden, and one at 90 Brock Street in Kingston. We cover the Kingston, Quinte, and Land O Lakes regions.

Lemon EO vs gunk 🍋
We are welcoming Prairie Doctor Brand | Herbal Medicine & Natural Remedies to the shop for our essential oil range + sharing again how lemon EO can replace Goo Gone by cutting through the stickiness.
Just add a couple drops and scrape off (pot scraper from the shop shown) - so much easier to do while washing dishes, so we store our lemon EO nearby for this task and also cleaning the sink (check out the how-to on our blog)
“What is it even doing” - thought we’d highlight our anti-AI content stance with my cameraman Harv’s input. I would say do this over the sink, it’s much easier! But you might also hear the dinner prep in the bathroom + see the sun outside 🤍🤍

Refill with a high return customer rate: bug’s bane
Every year we order a little more, and it sells out a little faster.
This bug’s bane refill spray is made in Lanark by .apothecary
Unlike those little bug repellent patches + a lot of natural bug sprays, this option uses an alcohol-based yarrow tincture to prolong the bug deterring oils instead of having them quickly evaporate.
This blend includes lemongrass, which was shown by Acadia University (currently leading in Canada on research to prevent Lyme + enhance tick control) last year to effectively deter black legged ticks. You can refill lemongrass + witch hazel to DIY in our refillery, but this blend also includes geranium, citronella, eucalyptus, lemon, peppermint, tea tree + cedarwood alongside ACV and aloe Vera. Spray this on your shoes + socks, on kid’s hats, your camp chair, you name it!

Hi friends!
Please watch this space in the front of our shop (and our sale section of the website) for some deals as we inch closer to our closure, with sales on everything come July. We had some promising talks with some potential buyers but ultimately haven’t ended up anywhere with them.
