Happy summer everyone!🌞🏖

I figured it was time for a much needed update as a lot has changed since my last post. I want to thank all my clients for the last couple years! At this time, I will be officially closing my business at the end of July with a massive reduction in availability until then.

I will be enjoying the summer with my kiddos (and others in a home daycare setting) so I have very limited availability on weekends only. If I have spoken to you about continuing cuts for you or your family after my closure, please know I will absolutely love to see you. I just most likely won't be providing colours as I will be starting school in September.

Again I want to thank all my clients for the support in these last 2 years. All the best and I hope you enjoy your summer! ❤️

Update February 26th;

Hello everyone. I'd first like to apologize to anyone who has inquired about hair services over my hiatus. I was not returning messages during that time and I'm sorry I wasn't available. You will be hearing from me this week (if you haven't already)💕

Most importantly, I do have some news for 2022.

I love my clients so much and you are all absolutely the reason I do this. But, after 15 years of being a hairstylist, I'm finding it incredibly hard to stay motivated. I have decided I will be changing up my career later this year. That being said, JG Hair Design will still be around, just much less availability after August 2022. I thank everyone for supporting me during my home salon time. I truly hope to see myself doing hair full time again at some time in the future.

Ps. I will be taking clients a few days a week until late August. My availability will be mostly days, very few evenings and weekends. After August will be basically 1 day a week.

To my beautiful, valued clients;

I am very sorry to be writing this. As some of you know, my husband is currently in school full time as well as working full time.

At this time, I need to do what's best for myself and my family, so I will not be taking any chemical services until the new year and my haircuts will be very limited. I currently cannot do any traveling hair and I only have about 1 afternoon available every 2 weeks, if that. To those with appointments already, I will be seeing you soon! But I'm just sorry to say I won't be taking much before 2022. I hope you all have a wonderful fall, Halloween and holiday season❤❤

This beauty is totally rocking this bold 90's inspired look!🔥 And I'm living for it😍

We took more than 10 inches off today! Then lightened her entire hairline, leaving this bold blond colour blocking highlight. We went with a natural tone that compliments the rest of her hair and it just looks gorgeous!

I refreshed my sisters worn out highlights, added warm lowlights and did some balayage to brighten up her ends leaving a beautiful, bright dimensional, natural tone of blonde that has beautiful depth😍. Finished with a slight shadow root to soften her roots so grow out can be easier and I'm in love!!

She always let's me do what I think looks best and I just love getting to play with her hair!!

Here's my current availability until September 18th! If you need a day that's not here, don't hesitate to ask and I'll see what I can do.

With less than a week until my beautiful friends wedding, it was time to go back to natural for her big day! I'm not going to lie in saying I was nervous to do this change right before such a big day but WOW! It turned out amazing. The shades I chose cut enough of the red and added enough warmth to blend the roots and ends perfectly!
