- Avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours
- Avoid excessive heat for 24-48 hours
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours

This client wanted to restore lost volume to her lips while keeping them as natural as possible.

By adding a small amount of dermal filler we were able to add volume + hydration and create more definition to her Cupids bow + boarder of her lips.

Lip filler rehab 👄

This client came to me wanting to add more volume to her lips. After assessing her lip tissue during her consultation one of the concerns the Client had was that her lips appeared “bumpy” when we smiled.

She had little amounts of old filler in her lips that had migrated causing the filler to pocket in her superficial layer of her lip.

After discussing with the client we dissolved the old filler and gave the lip tissue time to heal. We then a few weeks later refilled them!

We took two sessions to build her lips to this volume to help prevent any further migration of filler and to allow the filler time to integrate with her own tissue.

Lip filler results 👄

Swelling after a lip filler treatment is completely normal and will subside within a day or two.

Remember to avoid blood thinning medications such as NSAIDS and fish oils and avoid consuming alcohol for a few days prior to your visit as this will help to decrease your swelling and bruising risk.

Clients may take acetaminophen for tenderness and apply an ice pack to the area post treatment.

Lower face rejuvenation 💉

This client came in wanting to refresh her lower face / soften out her marionette lines and we did just that with a dermal filler treatment.

Lip flip what is it and what can it do?

A lip flip treatment is when a small amount of neurotoxin is injected into the muscles of your upper lip called your orbicularis oris.

Treating this area with neurotoxin helps to relax the muscle which helps to give the appearance of a fuller looking upper lip by “flipping” the lip up. This treatment also helps with showing less gums while smiling.
