Question: How long does it take to apply extensions and how long do they last? Answer: A complete application usually takes about 2 hours. It is recommended to do your first touch-up within 2 weeks of the initial application, followed by regular touch-ups (every 3 to 5 weeks) which take about 30 minutes.
-Lashes fall every 60 to 90 days, and new ones constantly grow. That's why it is necessary to have a touch-up to maintain the desired density. Q: What kind of maintenance is required? A: They need minimal care and will easily adapt to your lifestyle. They are resistant to water, prespiration and tears. You can swim, shower and do sports just as you always have with no worries. You will have to brush them every morning with an eyelash brush. Do not use oil-based products,lotions or waterproof mascaras. These products will cause the adhesive to weaken; that is why Misencil has created specialty products to keep your lashes at their best. Q: Will it damage my natural lashes? A: This new technique will not damage your lashes because the application is done lash per lash, without touching the skin, using a special adhesive that is exclusively reserved for the lash extensions. Never trust a technician who has been trained useing a CD, DVD, books or on a mannequin's head. An ill-trained technique could end up being disastrous...for your eyes and eyelashes. The Misencil eye-protection procedure has been validated by Health Canada and it is mandatory for me to follow this procedure. Q: I once had lash extensions, but they didn't last, why not? A: Many factors can be considered:

Q: How is it done? A: You will be comfortably lying down with your eyes closed. I will apply lash extensions one by one onto your natural lash using a special adhesive that is exclusively reserved for lash extensions. Q: Could it bring out allergies? A: Only if you are allergic to polyester (extensions) or to cyanoacrylates (adhesive). But then again....the adhesive never comes into contact with the skin. Q: Will it look natural or sophisticated? A: It all depends on the quantity and quality of your natural lashes, but also the look you want to attain. I will assess your eyelashes and help you choose the thickness and length of the extensions to be applied. For example, for a more natural look, 2 different lengths can be used and for a more sophisticated look, 3-4 extension lengths can be used.
