We’ve done some fun colour combos on Katrina but this has to be one of my all time favourites. (And not just because I’m a sucker for lime green)

This past week has been filled with some fun vivid hair. I am absolutely here for it! 😍

Can you really grow your hair while wearing extensions?

The answer is YES!

In early 2021 we cut her hair into a s**g just below her shoulders. In the fall of 2021 was the first time we installed extensions. Since then she’s been on a schedule of 7-10 week move ups with no breaks in between.

Hair growth itself whether you wear extensions or not is a journey. We focused on consistently trimming the ends and growing her layers out and then worked on growing the length down.

If you swipe you’ll see the difference between this last time and March 2023. I drew a line where her elbow is in each photo so that you can see the amount of growth we’ve gotten over the past year.

Diligent at home care as well as the care I take when working with my clients can result in success.

Sun kissed highlights blending very naturally into her existing base allowing some pops of dimension without being too overwhelmed.

Not sure what to ask for? I always suggest having a few reference photos, it’s a lot easier to discuss what you like/ dislike about them vs your own hair and how to achieve it.
