Hey Bronze Babes! I’d like to introduce myself... my name is Kaitlyn and I am the owner of Faux Glow Studio. I’m a certified Airbrush Artist and a SunnaSmile expert. I offer Spray Tanning and Teeth Whitening out of my chic little home studio. I started sunless tanning back in November 2019, but that quickly came to a hault after I was diagnosed with stage 2 Cervical Cancer just a few days after Christmas. Flash forward to present day... I am now cancer free! I completed 2 full months of chemotherapy and radiation treatment everyday, followed by 2 serious operations. I went for my final testing at the beginning of July and just last week I got the phone call from my doctor with the good news! I am also a Personal Trainer and an Online Coach, if you’d like to follow my personal page for all things fitness 💪🏻

Hello, Babes🤍 It’s been awhile since I have posted or updated you all on my health condition. Unfortunately, I am still very sick and that’s the reason why I haven’t opened my studio yet. I spent basically this whole month of March in the hospital. I was originally rushed to emerge by ambulance with a high fever and high blood pressure. Turns out I had a blood infection and could have died within 12 hours if I didn’t come into the hospital. I was put in ICU and had a million and one IVs in my arms. They also ran other tests on me and found an infection on my left kidney. The next day I had an operation where they put 2 tubes into both my kidneys that are attached to 2 bags. This was done to drain the infection from my kidney. 2 weeks went by and the infection started to clear up a bit but now they did another CT scan on me and they found an abscess on my kidney that also needs to be drained before they continue to do any treatment on me. So as of now it’s just a waiting game to get this infection healed, the new abscess drained, and then deciding if chemo is working for me or if I’ll be getting a new trial treatment done by a different hospital. This has been a very difficult and painful time in my life. I’ve had to use a walker to learn how to walk again from laying in a hospital bed for so long. I pray everyday that this will clear up soon and I can get back to regular life again. I truly miss spray tanning, as I love what I do. I hope to see you all again soon 🤞🏻

Hi, Bronze Babes! It’s been a hot minute. I apologize for not being as active on here these last couple of weeks. I’ve been dealing with some health issues lately. As much as I’d like to say I’m leaving on a jet plane to go lay under some palm trees were true... turns out after many hospitals visits and tests over these last 7 weeks, my cervical cancer has returned. Therefore, since I am a one man show, I have no choice but to close Faux Glow’s door for the time being. I will be taking the rest of November off until I have a better understanding on what the next steps are for me and my health moving forward. Unfortunately, all appointments will be cancelled & rescheduled until further notice. Thank you all for your understanding. I will update you all when I’ll be open and taking clients again.
