Hello everyone! It has been a very long time since I have posted to this page. I'm sure many of you have seen multiple posts on the flea market with items from the salon up for sale, and I've had quite a few inquiries as to if I'm closing shop, so I decided to make a post.

I started to have some issues with my hand and arm a few months back and was forced to either make the decision to scale things down or I would eventually lose the ability to continue doing what I love. It wasn't an easy decision, but it had to be made. I was very fortunate to have found a full-time job that had enough flexibility to allow me to continue part-time with nails and foot care. As of now, I have scaled things down to a single room, still located at the Menihek building.

Going forward, I cannot take any new clients. The only exception to this is if you have a gift certificate given to you or won during an auction. However, it can only be used for laser services, foot care, or brow waxing and tinting, as I cannot take any new nail clients.

Gift certificate sales have been discontinued, except in cases where you are purchasing one for an active client. Online booking has also been disabled.

I want to thank all clients, past and present, who have supported my small business for the last five years. You are deeply appreciated.

Just a friendly reminder to all our clients…

The evacuation order has been lifted effective Monday, July 22, at 12:00pm. I will be making my way back home from Happy Valley-Goose Bay as of that date.

Given the circumstances, Jaidyn will not be returning to work until August 14, 2024. I will be reaching out to all clients over the next few days to reschedule everyone.

In the meantime, I ask all clients to please be patient with us as we work to accommodate you as best we can. We are all so grateful that we are safe, our homes and our businesses are safe, and for the team that made this all possible.

I am evacuated to HVGB and I have secured a spot to do some nails while we are here. Priority will be given to my own clients, and spots will be very limited. I will reach out to you all soon.

As mentioned previously, all appointments are cancelled until further notice due to the evacuation. However, please do not go into your account and cancel them from the system. It will make it more difficult for me to rebook you once things are back to normal.

As of late there have been quite a few no-shows. When you book an appointment, that time is reserved for you. Our industry is commission-based, so when you fail to show up for an appointment, your service provider loses money. It also leaves gaps in our schedules which could be filled by other clients.

There have also been numerous cancellations happening on the day of the appointment. These late cancellations do not allow enough time to fill these spots.

Effective immediately, late cancellations will incur a late cancellation charge of $25 plus HST, and no-show appointments will incur a charge of 50% of the value of the service, plus HST. Failure to pay the fee(s) will lead to refusal of service and cancellation of any other booked appointments. You will also be blocked from booking any further appointments online.
