This past month has stretched me in ways I didn’t expect.

Being a business owner, a mom, and still trying to exist as my own person sometimes feels like living in two worlds at once. One where I’m building something I’m proud of… and one where a tiny human just wants me to be there.

Some days I leave the salon feeling guilty that I wasn’t home more. Other days I’m home wondering if I’m giving enough to the career I’ve worked so hard to build.

The truth is, the duality of motherhood and ambition can feel heavy. The fear of failing at both is unfortunately very real.

But I’m learning that you can be deeply grateful for the life you’re building while still feeling the weight and pressure of it.
