I've always been a meal prep girl, life's to busy to not be.
But the biggest reminder I've had from heading back to gym workouts, is that paying attention to what I put into my body is important. Once I started paying more attention to what I ate every day, all day I noticed changes-and not the visible ones from my workouts. I've had clearer skin, and the under eye puffiness is disappearing, I sleep better, my muscle recovery is faster, and the best part? I have more energy, and I'm more alert through out the day, without needing that mid afternoon energy drink!

Happy International Women's Day!

If you sat in my chair prior to March 2020, then you know how much of a gym rat I was 6-7 days a week for 2ish hours...it wasn't just about being fit and healthy physically, it was a place I felt accepted and "safe" from judgement of society. Then covid happened and gyms closed.

2157 days after that closure I finally stepped back into a gym. The amount of anxiety I had for the last 4 days made my goal of just getting to the gym a huge victory. It was a bonus that I went in and moved my body for 30min.

But I made it happen-with lots of support from my fiancé and I'm excited to step out of my comfort zone and find a mental safe space again!

Yesterday ended un the best way, I said yes to the dress! .wedding.place

There has been a few people mention a rumor floating around and I want to put an end to it.

The salon is still OPEN FOR BUSINESS during the posted hours, and I have not-and do not have any plans to close the salon and move to Red Deer.

My absolute favorite part of my job is being able to see the many different people I've met over the last 10 years working in Lacombe.

Thankful and Grateful for another year doing what I love, surrounded by friends, family and clients!
