Is cowboy copper over that quickly? Trends are happening quicker than we could ever have imagined. Did you know π¨π¦ was usually 5-7 years behind a "pop culture trend'? Thanks to social media we are on par with trends ... But that doesn't means that they are always something to follow.... Don't get me wrong I π§‘πβ₯οΈ all of the warm tones, especially coppers. But they are COMMITMENT.
1) They fade fast and are high maintenance
2) It is NOT an easy change back to your previous color. We are seeing our ash/natural blondes/brunettes jump into copper thinking it's a small change. Not realizing that to get back to their prefered colour is a process, let alone a major possible chop π Speaking from experience as I went from blonde to Copper, and thinking I would be a ginger for life (which lasted a year and a half) I wanted my blonde back desperately. i can tell you that once that warmth is in your hair, it's there for forever. It wants to stick around and be the life of the party for longer than we want ... It over stays it's welcome and then some. I'm still growing out my copper band alongside breakage. Thank you extensions!
Not to discourage you from trying a trend. Let's talk about the long term affects it has, and your over all hair goals and how your hair affects who you are.
With love,
Naomi
P.S. welcome back straight and blown out hair! How I have missed you π
