With all of the vacation bookings that are up and coming, here is a little Vacation Prep 101 because showing up pale to a vacation is so 2024.

✨ Book your spray tan appointment to be your last vacation prep service. All mani’s, pedi’s and waxing should be done 48 hours prior to your tan.
✨ Exfoliate & Shave at least 12 hours before your appointment. Use an exfoliating mitt or dry brush only. No moisturizing exfoliants. Your tan will thank you.
✨ Do not use any lotions or perfumes the day of your appointment ( I know it’s hard especially this time of year but I promise it’s worth the wait).
✨ Bring dark and loose fitting clothing to your appointment to wear home.
✨ Invest in a high quality sunscreen, sorry no Banana Boat sunscreen here. We love Bask or Coola lotions over here.
✨ Bring a tan extender with you on vacation such as Sunna’s Hydrate Me Gradual Tanning Lotion or the Colour Me Dark Mousse for little touchups throughout your holiday.
✨ Lastly, keep your skin hydrated. That means sip some water in between your margaritas 🍋‍🟩

This is Blaire and to know Blaire is to love her. 💛

I first met Blaire when she came to me for a spray tan for her Grade 9 Farewell; one of my very first clients. Over the years, she’s come back for tans and little catch-ups, and it’s been such a joy to watch her grow into the incredible young woman she is today: funny, witty, a little sarcastic, and endlessly kind.

Recently, Blaire received the heartbreaking news that she’s been diagnosed with Stage 3 metastatic melanoma in her early 20s. 💔

With skin cancer is on the rise, Blaire’s journey is an important reminder of how crucial it is to protect your skin and to schedule regular skin checks. Early detection truly saves lives.

The Summer I Declared I Am Never Moving Again…

Here is a little life update since it’s been pretty quiet on this page for the past little bit. This summer was unbelievably busy (as is everyone’s) with moving twice in the span of a month while also 9 months pregnant, running from the arena to the baseball field, renovating our rental property and welcoming our newest addition on the 30th of July. Noah showed up in the middle of summer, a week early which forced me to take a breath and slow down a bit. I just want to say a BIG thank you to everyone who has been so accommodating this past month with my slower than normal response times or the moving of appointments.

With that being said, I’m still here and as I take this next year off from my other job, I will be spraying tanning as much as I can and even offering day time appointments for those who prefer. However, know a little one might be the one who greets you at the door now 😚
