After being a stay at home mom for many, MANY years, starting my own business seemed like only a dream. The day I hosting my virtual grand opening was the day I sparked something in myself.

I LOVE being a mom, but I always knew that being a stay at home mom wasn’t for me. The beauty in this is that it’s not everyone’s path, and that’s okay. We’re allowed to have both, and we’re also allowed to have neither.

Being a supporter of women means that I support all women, and all paths.

To the stay at home moms, covered in snot and banana, not able to remember the last time you showered - I see you.

To the women working 9-5, busting their asses day to day - I see you.

To the women taking the plunge to start their own business, scared to death and overwhelmed af - I see you.

To the seasoned bosses, grinding every day, not knowing when they’ll finally get a day off - I see you.

It doesn’t matter where you are in life. It doesn’t matter what path you’re on. What matters is that you’re happy, and you know that you have an army of women who have your back.

This ones for you!

This 5 year old, blue eyed beauty is the EPITOME of a tornado. Most days I wish I could bottle up his energy and save it for future use 😂

We spent the weekend building a play structure at nana’s and papa’s and even though we told this ANGEL (🙄) of a child multiple fu***ng times NOT to go down the slide with sticks, he decided it would be a good idea to wait until mom and dad weren’t looking and do it anyways.

The result? He’s SO FU***NG LUCKY he didn’t lose his eye. The stick just barely missed his beautiful blue eyeballs and scraped all across his face to the corner of his eye.

Did he learn his lesson, you ask? NOPE. Although he didn’t bring the stick on the slide, the little jerk face brought it onto the structure, on the swing, in the house.... 🙄😩

Moral of the story? Boys really will be boys. Kids REALLY WILL be kids. We can drill things into their heads until we’re blue in the face and they’ll STILL do whatever the f**k they want.

I’ve chilled out a lot since having my fourth. Cause let’s be real here, I just don’t have the energy to keep up with all of them 😂 I try to teach and guide them the best I can, but most things they just need to learn on their own time, when they’re ready to do so.

As much as we LOVE giving our tiny as****es back to their teachers, it’s also sooo hard to see them go!

Anyone else get fomo when it comes to their kids LMAO - like, we love them so much, but also they’re super needy and we need a break, but then we miss them when they’re gone 😂😩

Happy Thursday! Just kidding, f**k Thursdays 😝 cheers to womanhood and surviving the weekend!

Isn’t it funny how times have changed? Do you ever think back to when you were a teenager and reminisce on all the free time you had over the weekend?

Age 18: whooot it’s Thursday! One more day of bu****it and then it’s party time! What’s the big plans for the weekend!?

Adulthood: uhhhh f*ck it’s the weekend which means we’ll have to be FULLTIME humans and be responsible for everyone while the family destroys the house 🤦🏼‍♀️

Don’t get us wrong, we LOVE our families and it’s the most incredible thing to watch them grow. But it’s like our love fuels their chaos and keeps them in constant overdrive, sucking the energy directly from our souls 😂😩

Over here, we like to think of Thursday’s as “Thirsty Thursday” - AKA, you better hit that liquor store to stock up on your wine before the list of responsibilities hits you in the face 😩

In light of our crazyyy every day lives we hope on a regular basis not just one day a year that we show our children what is it to treat all Humans equally and when we see someone being bullied to stand up and be a buddy!

My son Quinton who just entered middle school came home extremely upset. When I asked him why he explained it was someone in his classes birthday so he brought goodie bags for the class but decided to leave out a kid that he just didn’t like cause he was different, annoying and apparently not cool. This kid ended up crying (age 11) which is even harder cause come on we are in middle school crying can’t be cool..... So my son walked over to this kid and said “hey buddy I’m sure there is nothing even cool in it anyways here’s mine and always know when someone is bullying you it’s cause they are fighting their own problems”

NOW CAUSE CRYING IS NOT COOL IN MIDDLE SCHOOL! I had to turn away from my middle school child and cry that my son did this. Even though we feel like we are failing raising these tiny Reckless humans we are doing a good job !

Honestly. Most days I go to work in pyjamas, which means I also pick my kids up from school in pyjamas 🤷🏼‍♀️

My hair is usually up in a 6 day old bun, but if it is down, you know it’s in a side part!

I often wear my hubby’s tshirts because they’re just more comfortable than mine 😂

And I’d definitely wear my comfy 24/7 if the hubs would let me (I think he’s jealous of it because it’s like a constant hug 🥰)

At the end of the day, who really gives a f**k about how you wear your hair or what clothes you put on your body.

I’d rather see you out and about, huge smile on your face, rockin a unicorn onesie - than see you faking a smile and dying inside because your middle part makes you look like Gollum.

I kept trying to get closer to the edge but my hubby was having a panic attack 😂

Exploring this beautiful province we live in has me in awe! Every time I see a new place, find a new cliff (😂), do a new hike - I get this fire inside me.

I want to explore the world. I want to see EVERYTHING! I want to experience all this beautiful planet has to offer.

Being outside, tromping through the wilderness, has to be the most grounding experience. It’s like the soul of the earth is consuming my body, and with every step it’s giving me purpose.

I’ve always had this feeling within me that I’m meant for more than a regular 9-5. I want to make a difference. I want to BE the difference. I want to take off the filter and show you that being yourself is your best asset, and that you are enough.

It wasn’t until Sarah and I started this business that I finally felt like I’d be able to share with the world the beauty in being yourself. Not having to always have your s**t together, or have your house clean, or be dressed to the nines at all times.

That’s all I’ve ever wanted for myself, and that’s what I want for all of you as well.

I want you to feel that fire. I want you to be reckless enough to follow your heart, even if it’s the opposite of what the world is telling you to do. I want you to trust your gut and run towards your desires, not away from them.

If the only thing I do with this business is give you the confidence to be your authentic self and stop giving a f**k about anyone else’s opinions - I’ve done my job.

We all deserve to feel the earths soul pumping through our bodies, telling us we were destined for more.

Maybe you just need a little push.

So I go into my daughters room yesterday (if you remember back to my stories of - yes, same daughter, age 11) and I literally just say “so how was your day at school”

YOU GUYS. THIS CHILD STARTS FU***NG BAWLING.

I’m like whoooaaaa what the hell is going on here?

She goes “mom I need to tell you something, omg, I can’t believe I’m saying this, I need you to sit down”

So cause I’m awkward AF, I’m thinking back to me being 11 and I’m like what on earth does she need to tell me? Pretty sure my life wasn’t very exciting at 11 but times have changed so I start to panic cause my mind obviously goes to drugs and booze (yes I realize she’s 11, but I have anxiety and this is how my brain works, okay?)

So I very slowly walk into her room and sit down beside her on her bed, probably with a f**ked up look on my face cause I’m not sure how to look like I’m calm on the outside when I’m DYING on the inside.

She goes “omg, I’m sweating, my heart is beating so fast, I can’t believe I’m about to say this”

And of course I’m just sitting there like 😳😳😳😳😳

“Mom, today... I said the B word 😭😭😭”

OH. MY. F**K. 😂

I can’t even begin to describe to you how fast my brain changed from trying to hold back anxiety to trying to hold back laughter.

She’s clearly distraught, so I didn’t want to disregard her feelings, but OH MY WORD YOU GUYS, IVE NEVER BEEN SO RELIEVED IN MY LIFE!

She’s fine now, we had a chat and we’re all good, but now all I can think about is why bitch? Clearly my word of choice is f**k, so she definitely didn’t get that from me 😂
