My name is Danielle and I am the owner of BEAULA. I was born and raised in sunny South Africa (Afrikaans is my 1st language and I learned English when I was 7) where my parents and siblings still live and I grew up on a beautiful Wine Farm 🇿🇦 I studied Sports Marketing and Management in Stellenbosch, went to work on Cruise Ships for for 5 years, traveling the world. I have been to 33 different countries and met my husband onboard a cruiseship where we both worked at the time. I am a hockey/figure skating/volleyball mom so you will probably run into me somewhere at a rink or gym!

I came to Canada in 2011 with literally just 2 suitcases of clothes. Not even a phone, no job, no car, no house…nothing! I got my Canadian Citizenship in 2020 ❤️ and is a dual citizen.

After I saw a video on Instagram about Microblading it caught my attention. I started seeing them more and more, and pretty much got obsessed with watching Microblading videos. I did some research and enrolled in a course. I told my husband that if I can see I am not good at this, if I struggle and can’t get the hang of it I won’t continue. So I gave myself 4 months of practice (on artificial skin) and I did my first 3 clients for $50 🙈 so I could build up my portfolio - I am so grateful for those who trusted me and I still have as clients to this day! I am in the business for almost 9 years now and I absolutely love what I do. Brows are my passion and I can literally do it all day every day which makes me a workaholic - around my kids busy schedules of course!
