For those of you who are reading this the first time... Our 4 year old Siberian husky caught leptospirosis earlier last month which left him with acute kidney failure. Since it is acute the doctors said there is a possibility of improving his kidneys and maybe even reversing it. However, in doing so it will take time, lots of vet visits, antibiotics, treatments and money. When we first found out, he had to be admitted into emergency care for over a week, leaving us with a totally bill of 9,000 dollars. Initially when we started this GoFundMe page we didn’t anticipate how costly it would be. We are now way past the 5,000 dollar mark and counting. Therefore, we are trying to raise more money to help with the costs to afford all his treatments, antibiotics and vet appointments going forward and hopefully be able to save Apollo’s life!
