Microlocs, like traditional locs, go through four maturity stages: starter, budding, shooting, and final contracting. There’s no specific timeline for full maturation, but it can take approximately 6 months to 1 year, potentially extending up to 2-3 years depending on hair length and texture. 

Microlocs are versatile in styling, offering a unique and visually stunning with their small size allowing for a high density of locs and voluminous appearance. This style of locs requires a frequent maintenance comparing to traditional locs due to their size.
