My son and his fiancé are ENGAGED! After he proposed in beautiful Spain, we wanted to bring our families together for a little gathering to celebrate this exciting new chapter in their lives.

Watching The Chosen and one scene really hit me because it feels so much like real life today.

Sometimes the people closest to you—family, friends, the people who have known you forever—are the ones who question you, doubt you, or are the slowest to believe in what you’re doing.

And then, somehow, a complete stranger can see something in you that the people closest to you couldn’t.

Maybe it’s because strangers aren’t looking at your past. They’re simply seeing who you are now and believing in who you could become.

It’s a powerful reminder: don’t let someone else’s lack of belief become your lack of belief in yourself. ❤️
