𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗦 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗞 𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦

If you ever notice tiny red bumps that look a bit like a rash or hives right after your sugaring appointment, that’s what we call a histamine reaction. And the good news: It’s totally normal! 😇

Some skin types are a little more sensitive when hairs are removed from the root, and your body can respond by releasing histamine. It’s not caused by the sugar itself, it’s just your skin saying “hey… what was that?” 😳

For a lot of people, this only happens at their very first appointment because the skin and follicles aren’t used to the process yet. Others might see it once in a while. It’s rare but not unusual, and it always settles on its own. 😌

If you already know you’re prone to histamine responses, you can take an antihistamine beforehand if it’s safe for you to do so. ✨
