Hello Everyone!
After a year and a half of radio silence I'm happy to announce...

JACKY'S BACK!!!

I'm ready to take 2020 by storm with fresh ideas and an open mind, starting with a VALENTINE'S DAY GIVEAWAY! (Stay tuned for details :D )

But first, I'd like to share with you a little bit about myself so you can get to know a bit about me and my experience as a permanent makeup artist, gel nail technician, and human being!

My name is Jacky Rowland, and I'm the sole owner of "Jacky's" with services specializing in Gel Nails (Nailbasics and Fuzion), Softap Permanent Makeup, and Microblading. I'm a seasoned specialist, and very proud to say that my business has been built and sustained almost entirely by word of mouth! I've lived and operated in Leduc, Alberta for 18 years to date, and I'm happy to say that I continue to do what I love and love what I do.

In previous chapters of my life I've been privileged to live in other countries including the Middle East and Greece. These are amazing experiences I will always cherish. Over time, I ended up in Yellowknife, NWT for over 20 years where I found my 'niche', working as a hairstylist and then nail technician.

My only daughter continues to live in Yellowknife and raise her two sons, as well as my sister and her family. The North is and always will be close to my heart.

Recently, between taking care of clients and making them feel confident and radiant, my favourite pastimes include spending time with my man Sam, zooming around on our electric scooters, going to the movies, watching shows, and reading.

The need to evolve and grow still persists after all these years, however. I'm thinking my next challenge is to learn a second language!

I am of firm belief that each and every day will be a good day, and that everything happens for a reason. I am truly thankful for all that I have in my life, and trust that the universe always has my back. And most of all, when the going gets tough, "Let go, and Let God."

No one knows what the future holds, but trust that when our paths cross it's meant to be. I truly cannot wait to meet those of you who are destined to come my way and experience all I have to offer. I'll be ready and waiting for you!!
