Major blonde color correction 💪✨

My client came in with significant banding (especially through the back), hot roots from previous toning with 20vol, uneven dark buildup through the mids/ends, and some overprocessed strands that needed extra care.

Here’s how I corrected it 👇

✨ Strategic foil work — carefully placed a mix of blonding foils with ashy lowlights to break up the banding and create a more seamless blend.

✨ Customized developer approach — used 20vol at the root area where lift was needed, then dropped to 7vol through the ends to gently work through the darker buildup without compromising already fragile hair.

✨ Constant monitoring — every foil was watched closely and removed as soon as it was ready to avoid further overprocessing. This part is SO important during corrective work.

✨ Intentional toning — we chose to tone slightly cooler/ashier to neutralize unwanted warmth and help the blonde fade out beautifully instead of pulling yellow.

Color corrections aren’t a one-size-fits-all service 👏

A few years ago I created KW Foundation — not as a formal charity, but simply as a way for me to help women experiencing hair loss, cancer, alopecia, and other medical hair struggles regain confidence through wigs and hair replacement.

Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how emotional hair loss can be.
And I know not everyone can afford the support they deserve.

So I’m relaunching this program with a new vision:

KW DONATION

✨ To provide donated and sponsored wigs to women and individuals in need
✨ To create a safe space for confidence and healing
✨ To partner with the community, local businesses, and supporters who want to help make a difference
✨ To continue educating and advocating for hair loss solutions with compassion

This isn’t about “just hair.”
It’s about identity, confidence, femininity, strength, and feeling like yourself again.

My goal is to grow this into something truly impactful within our community. Whether that means:
• donating wigs
• sponsoring transformations
• monetary donations
• partnering with local organizations
• or helping one person at a time…
