The truth about powder brows vs. nano brows

There is so much misleading information circulating about permanent makeup right now, especially the myth that powder brows are the only technique that heals naturally.

Here’s what you actually need to know before getting PMU:
•It’s about pigment load, not just technique: Powder brows place significantly more pigment density in the skin than machine hair strokes. When done incorrectly, oversaturated powder brows turn into solid,gray blocks.

•Microblading isn’t Nano: Microblading creates micro-tears and scar tissue over time, which is why so many artists are stepping away from it. Machine nano strokes are completely different and far gentler on the skin.

•One size does NOT fit all: A true professional customizes the service based on skin type, undertones, and natural hair density, NOT whatever trend is blowing up online.

Let’s talk about pigment selection, it plays a bigger role than you might think!

Organic Pigments = The “Stayer” (high carbon)
This pigments really pack a punch & takes longer to break down & carries a much higher risk of aging an off tone over time.

Inorganic Pigments = The “Soft Fader” (Iron oxides)
This pigment sits softly in the skin giving a powdery more natural finish. The body can metabolize these pigment particles more gradually, allowing them to fade much softer over time

This is why majority of the time you will find me reaching for my mineral base “inorganic” pigment line.
