100 wigs ❤️🙌

What started as a simple idea to help cancer patients facing hair loss has grown into something truly meaningful.

Thanks to your generosity, support, donations, shares, and purchases, we reached our goal of donating 100 wigs for the 2nd Annual Cross Cancer Institute Wig Drive.

As an ovarian cancer survivor myself, this cause is incredibly close to my heart. I know firsthand how much hair loss can impact confidence, identity, and healing.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. Whether you donated a wig, supported The Wig Spa Canada, shared our posts, or cheered us on from the sidelines, you played a part in this year’s success.

Every wig donated was carefully washed, sanitized, inspected, and prepared by The Wig Spa Canada before being delivered to the Cross Cancer Institute. Each one was treated with the care, dignity, and respect that every patient deserves.

While we donated 100 wigs this year, the impact goes far beyond that number.

These wigs become part of the Cross Cancer Institute’s wig library, where patients can borrow them for as long as they need during treatment and hair regrowth. When they’re finished with the wig, it is returned to the library so another woman can benefit from it.

That means these 100 wigs will continue helping women for many years to come.

This wasn’t just 100 wigs.
It was hundreds of future moments of comfort, confidence, dignity, and hope.

Thank you for helping make a difference in the lives of women facing one of the most difficult journeys of their lives.

And the best part? We’ll be doing it all again next spring.

Summer treats for the pups 🍦🐕

3 Ingredient Banana Peanut Butter Frozen Ice Cream Scoops for dogs That Look Like Real Ice Cream

Ingredients:

* 1 cup (245 g) plain Greek yogurt (unsweetened, plain)
* 1 medium ripe banana (120 g) (peeled, mashed)
* 2 tbsp (32 g) natural peanut butter (xylitol-free, stirred)

Supplements:
None

Instructions:

1. Mash the banana in a bowl until completely smooth.
2. Add the plain Greek yogurt and peanut butter. Mix thoroughly until a thick, creamy mixture forms.
3. Place the mixture in the freezer for 45–60 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until firm enough to scoop.
4. Use a small cookie scoop or ice cream scoop to form round balls similar to the picture. Place the scoops on a parchment-lined tray.
5. Freeze for 2–3 hours until fully set.
6. Serve one frozen scoop at a time. Allow it to sit at room temperature for 2–3 minutes before serving if very hard.

Storage:
Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months. Do not refrigerate for long-term storage. Let frozen scoops thaw for 2–3 minutes before serving.

* Banana supplies potassium and natural sweetness without added sugar.
* Plain yogurt provides protein and probiotics, while peanut butter adds flavor and healthy fats. Use only xylitol-free peanut butter.
