Today I’m revisiting Modern Luxe by UniWigs in Warm Hazelnut - a wig I originally reviewed over 2 years ago!

One of my favorite parts of Wig Vault Tuesday is pulling older wigs out of the vault to see if they still hold up today. Some styles are trendy for a season… and others become timeless favorites.

✨ Meet Danika of Halo & Prism ✨

One of my favourite parts of the Cass @ Wig Spa Canada Sunday Reset Box is celebrating the incredible women behind the handmade treasures inside.

This collaboration is especially close to my heart because one of those talented makers is my daughter, Danika, the creator behind Halo & Prism . Watching her grow her business and turn her creativity into beautiful, handcrafted pieces has been such a joy.

Halo & Prism was born from Danika’s passion for creating jewelry that brings a little extra sparkle to everyday life. 🧪 The Wig Lab – Experiment WL-003

The washing is complete.

Now it’s time to evaluate the results.

In this video, I’m conditioning, drying, styling, and sharing my final observations after switching the washing methods on the same wigs.

My goal isn’t to prove one method right or wrong.

It’s to answer a question through testing and observation.

Based on this experiment, I’ll share what I noticed and let you decide what works best for your own wig care routine.

We Switched Wig Washing Methods 🧪

One of the biggest questions I’ve been asked is:

Can you switch wig washing methods without ruining your wig?

Rather than debating opinions, I decided to test it.

For this experiment, I’m taking the same wigs from my previous tests and switching the washing methods.

This is Part 1, where we complete the wash.

Stay tuned for Part 2, where we’ll condition, dry, compare the results, and share our final observations.

Every wig is different, and this experiment reflects the results from these specific wigs under these conditions.

Jori Method VS WSC Factory Reset

I absolutely love reading everyone’s preferences! That was the whole purpose of this comparison. There isn’t a “right” or “wrong” finish when it comes to wig care.
Some love a softer, more natural look, while others prefer a silky, polished finish. My goal wasn’t to crown a winner - it was to show that wig care is personal. Factory Reset Final Results

Now for the mist, movement and final comparison!

Part 3 of my Cass @ Wig Spa Canada Factory Reset test 💗 After using the finishing mist, I let both wigs dry outside before bringing them into the studio to see the final movement, shine and overall finish.

Then I compared them with wigs previously cared for using the Jori Method. Different products create different finishes - and neither is better. It all depends on how you prefer your wigs!
