I’m a firm believer that our careers are made up of seasons. And when we enter the season of motherhood, it’s okay to slow down and be present.
But I also know that as artists, we’re wired to create. We miss our clients. We miss the chair. We miss being creative.
Both can be true.
It’s okay to step back and be with your family when you need to. And it’s okay to come back and create when you’re ready.
Missing your career doesn’t make you less grateful.
Loving being home doesn’t make you less driven.
Give yourself grace in every season.
