IMPORTANT UPDATE.

I'll keep it simple, I'm simplifying things.

Doing what makes sense right now, with the season I'm in, with the economy and so I continue to provide the services that are in highest demand that also make financial sense as a business.

I'm thrilled to refer any spray tan clients to Jordan .smiles. she does my spray tans and uses the same solution brand I do.

Sugaring and lash lifts are here to stay, and just in time for the spring season. I'm happy to announce I'm accepting new clients.. so if you read this far, and have been waiting to try these services you can use the online booking.

And as always, thank you for your continued support as this business has evolved over the years.

Sometimes things happen at the exact moment you need them too.

It's no secret that everything is more expensive, and the services I provide are "wants" and not "needs" and although we NEED self care for our own mental health, when the budget gets tight, these are the things we look at removing from our budgets.

I GET IT. But that also means the business has slowed down. And I fear with winter coming, it will continue. An opportunity arose to work more at the vet clinic, and I've officially taken on a few more days.

But I'm NOT leaving you behind. I'll still be here just less. And I know that it won't work for everyone, and I'm sorry. To my core I'm a people pleaser, but I also have to do what's right for me, and right now that's stability.

My hours for November will be.

Wednesdays 9-1:30, 3-7 (no Wednesdays after Dec 3rd).

Thursday's 9-1:30, 3-7

Friday's- 1 a month (Nov 14th, Dec 5th) 9-2

When I'm able I will throw in a few evenings on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday based on my work schedule.

Saturday mornings- occasional through fall/winter.

I will continue to get in as many clients as I can, but with availability being limited, rescheduling and booking last minute may not available.

The spray tan industry has come leaps and bounds since our trauma experiences at the booths. The colour correction theory is steps above what we used to can light/medium/dark. It is professionally developed to work with your natural tone to create a natural tan... Not brassy, no Ross gellers are walking out of my studio.

So start your prep. Exfoliate, moisturize and hair removal so you're ready to get glowy. You won't regret it. Just remember I expect your best Adam Sandler look when you arrive.

The most important takeaway is that your tan needs to be your last appointment when your prepping for an event/vacation. And nails are the day before the tan.

UPDATE TO POLICIES.

If you need to cancel for any reason other than an emergency, within 24hours there will now be a full service fee (full amount of your appointment). You will be asked to immediately e-transfer this amount before we rebook your appointment. If the payment is not received within 24hours, you will be blocked from booking. Please note, I don't judge if things come up or you’ve forgotten, but the responsible thing to do is to take accountability, follow the policy. And we move on. 

If you fail to attend (no show) your appointment, it will now be the full cost of service, before you're able to rebook.

These situations don't happen often, and a text is sent out 2 hours before appointment. And an email 72 hours before. Giving you 48 hours to cancel/reschedule before the above policy is applicable. (If your not getting the reminders, please reach out. I can't fix what I don't know about.

I understand that things come up, but this is my income, and I'm done losing income because adults are forgetting.

This is the last step, before making it mandatory to add a CC to your file, and unfortunately that will affect everyone, not just those who fail to comply with the policy.

I don't mean this to come across harsh, and it is something that I hate having to talk about. With more limited availability, I need us more than ever to work as a team so everyone gets the time slots that work best for them.
