Who does a vision board?

I’m getting mine done before we head back to work. I was reflecting what I had on mine last year and a lot of it came true!

I’m definitely ready to start this year fresh, make some new goals for myself and make it all count.

Well guys I did it!!

I got through this strange first year in my business. I could totally look back on my year and say it wasn’t suppose to go that way.
I honestly had so much more I wanted to give to you all. I had so many things I wanted to do with my team.

But as I reflected this week, this is what I said to myself: Whitney you are a badass. You started a salon this year, I know you had different plans but you rocked that covid s**t!! You had constant changes in your life and still could adapt to whatever was thrown your way. Your clients and the girls clients that came in were so enjoyable to have and connect with. Your still standing and already planning the next year already. Wow I can’t wait to see what next year brings for you on this awesome ride you are on. But it’s going to keep getting better and better as you learn about yourself more and become truly who are meant to be.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I could not of done this year without any of you. You trusted me to make sure my salon was safe, you trusted me with your beautiful locks and you opened up to me in my chair and I am so dearly grateful. To the light or heavy convos we had, or the balls of laughter. I loved all these meaningful moments and connections.

We will be reopening January 5th! Yes I’m already planning as my one year is in January so stay tuned 🥳🥳

I always have a love hate with this season. I love seeing all my clients but my back and feet don’t! 🤪🤪

I decided the salon will be having a short Christmas break this season. We will be closed from Dec 23rd- Jan 4th.

So if you need in we only have a few openings left ❤️

I’m going to be honest. I’ve been burnt out and sometimes overwhelmed this past month.

With all the worry of covid, running a small business, day to day stuff and recovering from my miscarriage, it has been a lot.

I’ve made a decision to not look at my massive to do list or any worries I may have in the future.

But each day I’m going to look at all I accomplished and reflect on my day. And this is hard for me as I’m always looking onto the next thing. 😝😝

And you know what, it makes me feel WAY BETTER! From knowing I did something to help the girls at work, to being able to connect with one of my clients that day. I’m so happy I started doing this.

I hope this helps you in some way to reflect on the little stuff in your life and know in the end your doing a great job in life no matter how big or small it may be!

And when you feel overwhelmed with that to do list, think of all you did the day before, even if it was just getting out a bed and you will realize that list is usually bigger. You are doing awesome❤️❤️
