My daughter’s grandma,Val Green, lost everything in the recent duplex fire on 57A.

She had just finished decorating her whole home for Christmas and it's all gone.
The home is still a crime scene, so she hasn’t been allowed to recover anything, not even clothes.

Val spent decades working in housekeeping at Lloydminster Hospital, caring for others.
Now she needs her community.

Even in the middle of losing everything, her first concern was her pets. That’s the kind of person she is.
