When you apologise for snoring during your treatment, I take it as the highest compliment. Here’s why. Your nervous system’s entire job is to keep you safe. It scans for threat. Holds tension. Stays alert. Even when you’re “relaxing,” there’s usually a part of you still monitoring, still holding back, still half-awake. But when you snore? That means your body trusted me enough to completely let go. It means every detail I obsessed over, the lighting, the temperature, the way I position your body, the pressure of my hands, my presence, worked. It means your parasympathetic nervous system took over. Your jaw released. Your breath deepened. You stopped needing to stay alert. Most people leave feeling relaxed. But you? You went so deep your body forgot to monitor itself. So when you wake up embarrassed, apologising, trying to explain, please know: I’m not judging you. I’m genuinely proud. Because getting someone’s nervous system to trust me that completely? That’s the hardest part of what I do. And you just told me I did it right. Never apologise for snoring. It’s the best feedback I could get 🤍
