This month’s Business After Hours will be held at Golden Ears Cheesecrafters on September 17th, so let’s get to know a little more about this lovely local destination and the family behind it.
From local farming roots to handcrafted artisan cheese, the Davison family has been part of Maple Ridge’s agricultural story since 1902.
Today, sisters Emma and Jenna Davison are carrying that legacy forward through Golden Ears Cheesecrafters. Fresh Jersey cow milk from the neighbouring farm is transformed into artisan cheese made right here in Maple Ridge.
Their Farm Store also brings together locally sourced BC foods, prepared favourites and products from other regional makers.

Today is the day! ⛳️💚
Golf Tournament Agenda
7:30 AM to 8:30 AM Tailgate Breakfast Bash. Enjoy breakfast and coffee from De Dutch and kick off the morning with Empire CPA at the warm-up putting green and parking lot before heading out to the course.
8:30 AM Opening announcements, group photo, then head to your starting hole.
9:00 AM Shotgun start. Golden Eagle beer cart and marshals will be on course to keep things flowing and the fun going.
1:30 PM to 3:00 PM Lunch by Golden Eagle’s kitchen, sponsored by Johnston Meier Insurance Agencies Group. Please note any food allergies so we can accommodate as best as possible.
During lunch, we will announce winners and hand out prizes, so stick around and enjoy the celebration.
Let’s hope you’ve got long drives, straight shots, and a great time on the course!

On October 22, Momentum 2026 takes over The ACT Arts Centre for an afternoon of big ideas, meaningful connections and fresh inspiration.
The event begins with the City of Maple Ridge Home-Based Business Expo from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Discover local entrepreneurs, explore products and services from businesses in our community, make new connections and learn about the ideas taking shape right here in Maple Ridge.
Then, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., hear from hockey legend, business leader and former Vancouver Canucks captain Trevor Linden during an exclusive fireside chat about resilience, teamwork, leadership and succeeding under pressure.
