Orange shirt day is a path to reconciliation for residential school survivors who are returning to their cultural roots, reviving traditions once lost to them and finding strength in family to create a better future for all Canadians.

It’s important for Silver Scissors to stand and show solidarity. To acknowledge the harm that Canada’s residential school system had on generations of indigenous families and their communities.
