Fèath & Elemi
Specializing in TMJD, emotional health, concussion, and pediatrics. Curious about our business name?? Latin name is Canarium luzonicum.
We are a multi-disciplinary wellness clinic offering a variety of soft tissue therapies including Massage, Bowen, Craniosacral Therapies & Emotional Freedom Technique. Fèath is pronounced like 'feather' without the 'er' and is translated from Gaelic to mean absence of stress; the state of being calm; peacefulness; absence of worry, anger, or fear or other strong negative emotion., which is something we could all use a bit extra of these days. Elemi is one of the essential oils Kristen uses in her essential oil business, B2Pur. It is often used for nervous exhaustion, pulling oneself back together when you feel like falling apart, as an expectorant and for muscle pain and fatigue. Combining these two words perfectly describes what we aim to do- provide you with an opportunity to destress, relax your muscles, and leave feeling a little bit more 'whole' than when you came in ♥

When it comes to bedtime, consistency can matter more than the clock. 🌙🤍
A familiar routine gives your little one cues that it’s time to slow down, settle in, and get ready for sleep. It doesn’t have to be complicated—just simple, calming, and repeated each night.
Same steps. Same rhythm. A little more predictability. 🌿
And remember: bedtime routines don’t have to be perfect to be helpful.

😴 Sleep is more than just rest. It's recovery.
While you're sleeping, your body and brain are busy doing important work—from supporting physical recovery and tissue repair to processing information and regulating your stress response.
Whether you're training for a sport, working a busy schedule, or simply trying to feel your best, giving your body enough time to rest is an important part of your overall wellness routine.
🌿 You can't pour from an empty cup—and your body can't recover without rest.
Tonight, give yourself permission to slow down, put the to-do list away, and prioritize some quality sleep. 🤍

Pain isn't always as simple as finding the spot that hurts. 🌿
Pain can be influenced by so much more than an injury—from stress and sleep to previous injuries, repetitive movements, your nervous system, and how long you've been experiencing it.
That's why a pain management appointment starts with conversation and assessment. Understanding what you're feeling, what affects it, and how it's impacting your day helps create a more individualized approach to care.
Treatment isn't one-size-fits-all. The goal isn't simply to chase the painful spot, but to look at the bigger picture and find supportive ways to help you move and feel better.
If persistent pain has been affecting your day-to-day life, you don't have to just push through it.
Book a pain management appointment at Feath & Elemi and let's explore what your body needs.

Pain can linger even after an injury has healed—and that doesn’t necessarily mean something is still being damaged.
Pain is complex. Your nervous system, stress, sleep, fatigue, previous experiences and movement can all influence how strongly you experience pain. Sometimes, the body’s alarm system simply becomes more sensitive over time.
Understanding why pain persists can be an important first step toward managing it. 🌿
Helpful approaches may include gentle movement, improving sleep and recovery, managing stress, gradually building strength and hands-on care.
If you’re experiencing ongoing or recurring pain, book an appointment or contact the clinic. We’re here to help you better understand what your body may be telling you.

🔥❄️ Heat or cold—which one should you use?
When it comes to pain, there isn't always a one-size-fits-all answer.
❄️ Cold can temporarily reduce sensation and numb an area, which may make pain feel less intense for a short time.
🔥 Heat can feel soothing when pain is accompanied by tension or stiffness and may help muscles feel more relaxed and comfortable.
But here’s the important part: pain is complex. Your nervous system, stress, sleep, previous experiences, movement and other factors can all influence how you experience pain.
So rather than asking, “Which one is better?” it can be more helpful to ask, “What does my body need right now?”
Heat and cold can both be useful tools—but they're not one-size-fits-all solutions.
If you're dealing with ongoing or recurring pain and aren't sure where to start, book an appointment or contact the clinic. 🌿
