Today, on Remembrance Day, I’m honouring my Grandpa Toms, who bravely served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War.

He was only required to complete 30 trips — but he went on to make 60. The death rate was incredibly high, and to survive that many missions was nothing short of extraordinary. His courage, strength, and dedication will always be remembered and cherished.

Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve. Your sacrifices will never be forgotten. ❤️
