ATTENTION CLIENTS‼️

Can you imagine going to work all day but not getting paid? This is the reality for stylists when clients no-show or cancel last minute.

Have you ever been stood up on a date before?
What about being stood up for a date at YOUR expense?? Pretty awful feeling right?!

I cannot stress enough the importance of giving notice for appointments that you are not able to attend. I’m a very considerate person and fully understand that things can happen last minute that our out of our control; I get it, I’m human too!

However, I need to be able to depend on my paycheque just like you do and it makes it very difficult to do this when I can’t count on my guests to show up as scheduled.

I send an appointment reminder 48 hours before every scheduled appointment time and need at least this much notice for cancellations. Please just take into consideration that any less notice than this and it’s nearly impossible to fill my chair and I am then left unpaid for that time.

I will also be taking a valid credit card number or physical deposit going forward to rebook any missed appointments.

Do you feel like your toner fades too quickly?

Here are some things that could be contributing:

•Non-professional hair care. Drug store brands can contain cheap ingredients and heavy sulphates that will damage your hair and strip the colour. If you spend good money on your hair, the best way to take care of it and keep it fresh is to invest in quality hair care for at- home maintenance!

•Heat. Tests have shown that high amounts of heat open the cuticle of the hair and let the colour molecules out. Turn down the heat and watch as your colour lasts much longer!

•Bad water quality. Hard water can contribute to blonde hair looking brassy very quickly, so consider getting a water filter/softener!
