Witches brooms, although a beautiful and bohemian decorative addition to any area, they provide a more deeper meaning than most of us are aware. Traditionally made with willow, put at the front door and placed a certain direction to either deter or to attract company. They cleanse your space with long strokes to "sweep" any negative energies away from your alter, space or home. When your space is clean, you just have to admit, it clears your mind, body and spirit too. Brooms were used in a ritual to encourage the growth of our crops, an old dance of fertility. Not that it was encouraged. It was mostly feared upon to be a worker of the other ways, ways that were not seen as appropriate from the laws of the community church. Witches and those alike found ways to hide their rituals from those who were generally just scared of the unknown. If you swept right after company in your home, you would actually be sweeping them forever out of your life. I make these brooms from the deepest, most sincerest space in my soul. They are charged with the necessary intention needed to the individual in receipt of it. I prefer to know the person I am making it for so I can tailor it to their needs, however this is not always necessary. Be safe and love thyself 💖💕✌️

It was a nettle gathering yesterday ❤️first attempt and in love with this stinging nettle cake we enjoyed after supper 😍 There is so much benefit to self sustainable living. Not only the vitamins and anti inflammatory effects but also the outdoor activity , confidence and freedom to survive. Respect for our Mother Earth, Sky Father and the willingness to take care of them ✌️🌎

The first haul of the season always tastes the best ❤️✌️stinging nettle is one of the first edible foods to emerge in the spring and I can't explain how much we love it!! I dried this batch for tea and to add the powder to almost all our foods for extra vitamins throughout the year but we also enjoy it fresh on pizza or in chillies and soups. The list is endless of what it can be added to. We tried freezing it last year but it's flavor changed and we just didn't enjoy it as much ❤️✌️there is tons around here and if you're fortunate in your back yard 😍be sure to wear gloves when picking, as I've gone without and by the end both my hands were numb 😉😂wash it off in cool water and enjoy 🎉👌
