💉 Are you scared of acupuncture needles? 😱
You’re not alone! it’s one of the most common questions I get!
But once you actually see them… everything changes. 👌🏼
😀They’re incredibly thin (about the width of a hair), gentle, and nothing like the needles you’re used to.
Most people feel little to NO pain! just a tiny pinch, followed by a sense of relaxation, warmth, or tingling ✨
🙅🏻♀️And no, nothing is being injected. Acupuncture needles are solid, sterile, and single-use, making the treatment very safe and clean.
Honestly, many patients come in nervous…
and end up falling asleep 😴
🙆🏻♀️If you’ve been curious but hesitant, that’s completely normal.
Sometimes the best way to understand is to experience it.
🤜🏼Curious? Maybe it’s time to try. 🤛🏼
🧘🏻♀️Lately, something at work has been on my mind.
☯️ There is a line from the Huangdi Neijing, an ancient Chinese medical text:
“The wise treat illness before it appears.”
But in real life, many of us ignore the early signs our bodies give us.
🙂↔️“I’m just tired lately.”
🙂↔️”It’s probably from bad sleep.”
🙂↔️”My lower back always gets tight… it’s nothing new.”
🙂↔️”It will go away on its own.”
🫸So we keep pushing through.🫷
Our bodies whisper.
But our minds keep saying:
“It’s fine.”
📉Until one day, it isn’t.
Recently I saw someone who had always been strong, independent, and successful — a businesswoman and a mother who spent most of her life taking care of everyone else.
😞 Now, because of the damage to her body, many daily activities have become limited.
Her quality of life has changed in ways she never imagined.
The words I hear most often in moments like this are:
🙊 “I wish I came earlier.”
🙉 ”I should have listened to my family.”
🙈 “Maybe if I had tried acupuncture earlier…”
The truth is, health is rarely lost overnight.
Most of the time,
our bodies whisper long before they start to scream…
👂 Listen while it’s still whispering.
Don’t wait until your body forces you to stop. 🛑
🌱 Spring Season in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) 🌷
🌸Season: Spring (春)
🪵Element: Wood (木)
💚Organs: Liver & Gallbladder (肝膽)
Energy: Upward, expanding, moving (萬物生發)
Spring is when Yang energy rises and Qi starts moving again after winter.
☯️So treatments often focus on: (疏肝理氣)
Moving Liver Qi / Reducing tension / Supporting detox & digestion / Relieving seasonal allergies / Improving mood and energy
🟤Because if Liver Qi stagnates, people often feel:
Neck & shoulder tightness / Irritability or stress / Headaches / PMS / Digestive bloating
🌱 Time to reset your body. Release winter tension, boost circulation, and feel grounded again with Acupuncture and Massage. Book your Spring wellness session today!

Winter is the perfect season for warm foot baths 🧣🦶 In TCM, warming the feet helps nourish Kidney Qi, improve circulation, and ease cold-type discomfort, help with lots of fertility issue and much more! ☯️
Here is warm foot bath routine you can easily do it at home. 😀
🪣 Preparation
You can use any bucket that reaches at least knee-height, as long as both feet fit comfortably inside.
Fill it with hot water around 38 to 40 degrees Celsius or simply a comfortable warm temperature — not too hot, not too cool.
Make sure the water level reaches above the lower calves, around the “calf belly” area, for the best effect. Lots of great acupuncture points below the calf area. 🦵🏼
🌿 What to Add
You can keep it very simple with just hot water, or boost the benefits with:
• Epsom salt for muscle relaxation
• Ginger slices for warmth and circulation
• A few drops of essential oil for calming aromatherapy.
⏱ Duration
Soak for 15 to 20 minutes.
The best timing is 1–2 hours after dinner and 1–2 hours before bed.
Around 9 PM is perfect — it matches the TCM meridian clock and helps your body wind down naturally.
🧦 Aftercare
When you’re done, dry your feet well, give them a light massage with lotion, and then wear socks to seal in the warmth.
The warm foot bath helps improve circulation, calm the mind, support digestion, and prepare your body for deeper, better sleep.
⚠️ Important — Do NOT do foot baths if you:
• Are pregnant
• Have an active infection
• Have a condition that worsens with increased circulation, ex. Uncontrolled high blood pressure.
• Recently had surgery or have an open wound
• Have metastatic cancer
🤢 If you feel unwell during or after the foot bath, please stop immediately and rest. Consult your TCM practitioner or doctor if symptoms persist.
💖A foot bath is simple, gentle, and deeply nurturing, especially in the colder months.
Try it tonight and let me know how you feel! ✨
🎥A day in the life of a Registered Massage Therapist and Registered Acupuncturist is more than treatments.
🙌🏼It is presence, intention, and holding space for every person who walks through my door.
☯️From the first appointment to the last, every session is focused on mindful care, therapeutic detail, and meaningful results.
🙆🏻♀️And when the work is done, I return home to my little family that recharges me, so I can show up again with the same care and heart tomorrow and ready to continue serving our community with the same consistency and dedication.
Thank you for trusting me with your wellness journey. 🌿🫶🏼✨

🌿 A Simple Life Philosophy 🌿
Massage isn’t just about fixing or forcing—it’s about guiding, listening, and allowing the body to find its own balance.
🎋That same philosophy flows into everyday life—through softness, kindness, and the quiet strength of simply being present. 🌸
✨ This post wraps up our three-part reflection: What Massage Really Means in Life.

Massage isn’t just for others — it transforms us too. 💫 Part 2 — For Ourselves 🙌🏼
Every session is a practice in mindfulness, empathy, and balance.
Our hands listen, our hearts learn, and our bodies remind us to slow down.
The more we help others release, the more we find our own peace. 🤍
