Well that’s one big spinach leaf!

First radish harvest of the year! Delicious in a salad.

I wanted to share this beautiful masterpiece from one of the many spiders who make a home on my deck every year. This one decided to spin a web between the chimes. Much respect little spider. 🕸️🌬️🎶🕷️

Mmmmm spicy earth 🤤🫖🌱

Eastern grey squirrel (the black coat is a result of extra melanin - a mutation in genetics) hanging out in my backyard on this rainy April morning. The Eastern grey isn’t a native species to BC, and is classified as “invasive. As cute as the greys are, I wish I saw more red and Douglas squirrels in my neighbourhood (both native to our area).

I get asked often if I grow my own herbs. Some, yes, in small quantities (I just don’t have enough land to do this, though).
This is one of the main places I order my herbs from to make tea blends for all of you lovely folks. They’re organic and they have a high standard for their operations; both of which are super important to me.
