The bonds you're using from Lashes by K Academy are dental grade. They're the same adhesives they use in the offices for braces. But that's not enough!

Before you start working on your client, make sure that their teeth are clean 🧼

Often times we jump right into the application process, however, if you take a few moments before to analyze your clients teeth you may notice a "film" like layer, it is called pellicle. This layer on your clients teeth will prevent the adhesives from sticking.

💡SOLVE THE PROBLEM:
Remove the pellicle.
The easiest way to remove pellicle is wiping it with a cotton round. Ensure the tooth is completely dry and clean. This step takes less than 30 seconds but it adds months of longevity to your tooth gems.

💎BONUS TIP:
Create a seal of composite around your tooth gem. It's not enough to have adhesive under the gem. We need to create a barrier of protection around the gem to prevent it from falling off due to crunchy or sticky food.

This course will be in a small group training to ensure an intimate and hands-on learning experience! It is a beginner friendly, detailed and interactive course with lifetime ongoing mentoring and support! You will be stuck with me for life once you register :).

T H E T R A I N I N G
The class is two days to maximize your learning experience; we cover theoretical and practical of lash extensions and how to brand + launch your business. I will provide a handbook that includes everything from eyelash anatomy to details on marketing tools you'll need to succeed.

The first portion will consist of health & safety (for yourself, clients and your workspace) & product knowledge, following techniques, etc. Then the following will be with a mannequin and then live model to perform a full set (I suggest doing a hybrid set so you can practice both classics and volumes); this will teach you how to prep your client for application, different application techniques and much more detailed insight to achieve the best results.
