The romance of an ink nail 🥰

I saw an artist call this style ‘foggy window’ and I feel like it evokes exactly that! I used Pastel Ink V2 collection, and magnetic gel 02 for the fog effect. The droplets are a fun style choice but this already looked angelic without it

A wild win for the IBX Repair Treatment 😍

This lovely human’s nails were severely compromised at another salon using harmful product and removal practices

We agreed the only safe way forward was to fortify her nails with an IBX treatment which added a pseudo dorsal layer to protect the nails and grip gel

The biggest thing I wanted to avoid on her soft nails was heat spikes…

We used a bonding gel straight onto ibx without etching and applied Universal Pro Dual forms halfway onto her nail with fiber gel. This allowed us to flash cure and fully cure a controlled amount of gel minimizing exothermic reactive heating and giving us a fake free edge

We then went in with hard gel and MGArt Almond Dual Forms (OG) to extend and shape the nails. We were super attentive because of how compromised her nails were at the start, and she said she didn’t have a single heat spike!

We finished the service with .official Bare BB Cream, Chrome and French alps for her design and she left with her nails feeling protected and painless 🤍

This was a complicated fix and required a lot of gentleness and communication. I really thank her for trusting me with her nails. We were so cautious and I am so glad we got this result 😍
