Dysport can be used to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. With minimal downtime, you can have results lasting between 3-4 months.
What can attribute to facial asymmetry?
💉Dentition is a major cause of asymmetry, from extractions, veneers and dentures all playing a major role in how the muscles lay over these bony structures.
💉Chewing on a favoured side can change the muscle structures on that side.
💉Sleeping on a favoured side can weaken the area where the skin naturally folds making them deeper on that side.
💉Poor Posture and resting your face on your hand have been attributed to facial asymmetries.
💉Aging although, your bones stop growing at puberty, your cartilage continues to grow as you age. This means your ears and nose grow and change as you age, which may cause asymmetry.
Did you know Dermal fillers can be used to balance uneven volume loss and Botox can be used to even out uneven muscle activity?
Yes it's true❣

This picture is a great estimate of how many units you would need for a specific area.

Myth #1 Botox Is Unsafe.
Although it is derived from Clostridium botulinum bacteria, Botox is a purified protein. This means that there are no live bacteria in it and it cannot replicate.
Botox is injected into your skin, not your bloodstream.
Even if it somehow did enter your bloodstream, the concentration is far too low to have an actual effect, and it would quickly be metabolized away.
Clostridium botulinum bacteria occur naturally in many places including soil, lakes, and even mammals and fish. As spores they are harmless, but when they transform into live botulinum toxin, they become toxic.
Myth #2: Botox will result in the loss of facial expression.
Botox relaxes muscles to enhance the way you look so you look well-rested and bright. If someone looks frozen or unnatural after a treatment, it may be due to incorrect dosing or placement. Botox is a very precise drug and can be injected carefully to maintain the harmony of the muscles and the natural balance.
An odd appearance after Botox is possible but preventable and treatable in most cases. For instance, “Spock brows” or “peaking” of the brows can be prevented or treated with a small dose of Botox to relax the muscles that are pulling upward on the brows and creating that unnatural look. A follow-up appointment to assess the results after two weeks is important.
Myth #3: A Botox injection is very painful.
Botox injections are not as painful as they are often said to be.The needles used for Botox injections are very thin and only a small amount of Botox is injected. Patients only feel a tiny pinch for a second or two during the process. Often multiple injections are required, and several pinches may make the experience a bit uncomfortable but each of them lasts only a few seconds and are tolerable.
Myth #4: Botox injections are addictive.
One of the biggest Botox myths surrounding Botox is that it is addictive in nature. However, Botox drugs do not have any addictive properties or elements. Since there are no psychoactive ingredients in the product, it cannot possibly be addictive.
Patients can become increasingly dependent on it because it helps them in looking youthful. But, this arises because of a person’s priority on their appearance. It is an intrinsic factor rather than a physical dependency.
Myth #5: The effects of Botox are permanent.
This is not true. Instead, this procedure yields temporary results. After a period of 4 months, the effects wear off. For continued effect, you might desire to receive Botox again after the recommended minimum time since the last injection. Therefore, anyone looking for a permanent solution, or those who are afraid of the procedure not yielding results, know that it can be an ongoing commitment to keep up the desired results. If treatments are discontinued, the muscles will resume their previous activity level. The CosMedic Beauty can work with you to set up a treatment plan customized to suit your needs.
Myth #6 Botox Will Add Volume.
Botox is a type of neuro-modulator, used to block chemical signals that force muscles to contract. It is ideally suited for addressing “lines of expression”, wrinkles that form in areas prone to movement like between your brows or around your eyes.
Fillers, by contrast, are substances formulated specifically to restore volume and fullness. Many are made with hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in your skin that gradually disappears as you age. Fillers can be used to plump up lips and fill in shallow areas, while also addressing “lines at rest,” those caused more by a loss of collagen and elastin and less through muscle movement.
Myth #7: Botox is instantaneous.
You will not see immediate results from Botox injections. The procedure doesn’t work instantaneously. Rather than immediate effects, Botox showcases its effect slowly and subtly. Some apparent changes in the appearance may be visible after 3-5 days while the full results will take over 7 to 14 days to show.
Myth #8: Botox is meant for women.
It is believed that women are more invested in retaining their youthful beauty. Therefore, a lot of people think that Botox treatments are intended solely for women. This is not the case. In fact, both men and women these days want to look presentable and cosmetic procedures like Botox can help them both equally.
Myth #9: Botox Is Only for Older People.
People view Botox as something used as a corrective measure to minimize the appearance of lines and wrinkles that have come with age. But today, people in their 20s are turning to Botox as a way to treat fine lines and prevent them from developing into more noticeable and long-lasting wrinkles.
Myth #10: Botox Is Only Used to Relax Wrinkles.
Another misconception is that Botox is used for purely cosmetic reasons. While correcting lines and wrinkles may be what Botox is most known for, the reality is that it can be used for a variety of other purposes including treating hyperhidrosis, migraines and improving your smile.

Dermal Fillers smooth out skin by filling wrinkles. Collagen used to be common filler, but these days most fillers use hyaluronic acid. Thanks to its ability to store moisture, hyaluronic acid is responsible for giving skin a plump, hydrated look. Once injected it can add to the natural plumping action, or replenish your body's natural production of hyaluronic acid, which diminishes as you age.
At the CosMedic Beauty our goal is Imperceptibility! We take pride to ensure the changes we make are subtle and natural. 💋

Frown lines, crow’s-feet, and expression wrinkles are due to the repetitive folding of the skin. It has been noted that by injecting earlier, you can keep wrinkles from happening in the first place, rather than attempting to fix them after they’ve developed.
Also, by injecting Botox into the muscles that control the downturn of the sides of the mouth you can prevent the formation of marionette lines, which, once they form, are very hard to treat!
*If the goal is prevention,
you should start at the point where you begin to notice or are bothered by frown lines, forehead lines, etc *
