Omolola Fashesin serves as the Principal of Sustainability Standards at the Canadian Sustainability Standards Board (CSSB). Since joining the team in April 2022 as one of the inaugural staff members, she has been instrumental in shaping sustainability standards through her work in technical research, market outreach, and educational initiatives.

Omolola received her MBA from the Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, United Kingdom. She is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds a CPA designation. She is a Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential holder and has completed the Certificate in Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR™) program offered by the Global Association of Risk Professionals.

Kayla Stephenson is an adjudicator, mediator, and arbitrator with extensive experience in administrative justice, dispute resolution, and community governance. She has more than five years of experience adjudicating complex matters within municipal administrative tribunals, where she interprets legislation, assesses evidence, and issues written decisions in high-volume and procedurally sensitive environments. Her work regularly involves self-represented parties and diverse communities, requiring both fairness and cultural competence.

In addition to her adjudicative work, Kayla is the principal of Kaye Legal & Mediation Services, where she provides mediation, arbitration, and conflict resolution services across a range of civil and community disputes. Her professional practice emphasizes trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches to dispute resolution.

Saunia Palmer-Nelson is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered

She is the Owner and Clinical Director of Refining Therapy Services (RTS), a psychotherapy and counselling private practice. Through RTS, she supports individuals and families with their mental health, family dynamics, trauma, stress management and self efficacy, offering in person and virtual sessions. She specializes in creating a safe space for youths and adults, individuals and families, and journeying with them as they navigate various stages of their lives and aims to enhance the social development and emotional growth of clients in a culturally sensitive, non-judgmental, and respectful manner.
