✨It’s National Aesthetician Day and I’m wishing all my fellow Esties and Estie Besties a wonderful day. Also to all the supportive connections, clients and community for your ongoing encouragement and trust. And not only trust for your skin, but providing a safe space for you even in your joys and most vulnerable moments. I am always in awe that I am still here, doing what I absolutely love and having the opportunity to grow beyond this. X-Joan

PS I’m back from holiday and I’m feeling renewed. I chose to unplug to the best of my ability this time while away and allow the space to be present with my family. I know I didn’t do my usual “what skincare did I pack?” stories or post that are usually anticipated…but when it came to my skin, I just brought random products of what I wanted to finish up. Skincare while on holiday is kept super simple…cleanser, serum, moisturizer…and SPF!! I don’t bring anything to treat my skin…only to protect it 😎🧢👒🧴

📸IPL for your hands. Did you know that sun damage/age spots on the hands is the most stubborn to treat? But it can be done! Here’s my client after 1 session and it’ll only improve further when you keep protecting your hands.

🙌🏽Some tips to prevent sun damage on hands:

☀️Apply SPF regularly on hands
☀️if you drive for long periods, wear driving gloves
☀️when you work outside doing yard work, wear gloves, not only to protect from sun damage but also possible traumas (scratches, cuts, bites, nicks)
☀️if you frequently get your nails done and use the UV lamp to set, try wearing fingerless gloves before the polish goes on.

Microchanneling to unlock the smoothest skin possible. Enhancing your treatment experience without damaging your skin is what gets done here. 😉

✨Radiant skin loading. to treat sun damage from over the years.
My client has done the homework and was patient. 3 IPL photofacials (4weeks apart) alongside homecare with brightening ingredients (And SPF even in the winter) led to this.

Results vary as pigment depth can vary. It took years for this to form…it will take time and a few sessions for it to fade.
