Finding the right anchor shade before you start calibrating is sooo important… going for the first shade that “looks good enough” can make or break the entire match.
We always want the complexion to look BRIGHT, not light. That’s why I swatch in the center of the face, the side of the neck + the center of the chest, just under the chin.
Forehead to chin, neck to chest… it all needs to align for a match to look truly seamless with the rest of the body.
