The longer I do complexion, the less interested I am in teaching artists a list of “if this, then that” rules.

Because real skin will humble that list REAL quick sisss 😅

What I want you to learn is how to slow down, look at what’s actually in front of you, gather information, cross-check your read and make a decision you can explain.

Neutral undertones are such a good example of that!

Sometimes the answer isn’t immediately obvious. Lighting changes what you perceive. Surface colour can interfere with your read. Different areas of the skin can give you different information.

And that’s okay.

You don’t need to know instantly -> you need to know how to investigate. 🔬
